About the In-House Graphic Designer position
We are looking for a skilled In-House Graphic Designer to provide design solutions with high visual impact within Thrive. Your responsibilities will include creative design and coordination across a variety of products including email, website landing pages٫ social posts, print invites, event/campaign collaterals, online store merchandise٫ organization identity, etc.
You should possess great creativity and have a solid background in design. In this position, you will develop and coordinate all communication and marketing efforts. As a small team, who accomplishes much, we expect you to be able to efficiently and effectively collaborate with our whole staff, working hand-in-hand with our in-house copywriter and greatly supporting our fundraising and event teams.
Conceptualizing, Creating, and Maintaining Thrive Deliverables
- Creation/management of the communications calendar (including email communications, print campaigns, social media) across all areas of the organization with COO & Copywriter
- Analyzes existing communications and conceptualizes new methods of communication to build brand recognition, gain a larger target audience, and support all ministry arms of Thrive
- Strengthens and develops event (retreats and virtual gatherings) communications and branding (working closely with the Retreat/Virtual Gatherings Department)
- Strengthens and develops event/campaign/development material communications and branding (working closely with the Development Team)
- Strengthens and develops marketing campaigns (fundraising and brand awareness campaigns including targeted approaches)
- Strengthens and develops social media branding and presence
- Strengthens and develops current and future online publications and web design (working closely with Publications and the Developer)
- Prepare print files and work with printers to ensure print materials are printed properly and on time
Organizing, Maintaining, and Developing digital and print assets
- Stock photography subscription (iStock.com), internal cloud file storage (box.com), onsite print storage (mail room print supplies)
- Seeking out agencies/photographers/women in missions to get on-the-field photos
- Design & UI of retreat photography website and communication with retreat photographers
In-House Graphic Designer requirements are:
- Must embrace the mission of Thrive and agree with our Statement of Faith
- 2+ years' experience of working as a Graphic Designer or other similar position
- Excellent graphic design and marketing skills with a strong portfolio
- Creative flair٫ versatility٫ conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Innovative and adaptable learner, utilizing new tools and technologies
- Strong interaction٫ communication and presentation skills
- Solid practical experience with industry-leading software and technologies٫ such as the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Slack, Box, MailChimp, Trello, Asana, Hootsuite, Airtable, MS Office 365, Apple products.
- Strong abilities to comply with requirements of time٫ costs and deadlines
- UX/UI design and video experience is a plus
- Thrives (pun intended ;-) in a closely knitted, small team environment

Position Details:
- full-time, salaried position, $25/hr.
